The Rock Climber

This brave Bighorn Sheep is a common sight along the Akamena Parkway in Waterton, AB. If you're lucky enough to spot them on the mountain slopes, you'll see that nothing compares to their rock-climbing abilities. This print is for those perfect summer days spent climbing to a great lookout spot just to watch the world pass by.

To bring this print to life, I used a "jigsaw" printmaking method. I carved the design out of a single linoleum block, then carefully cut it apart like puzzle pieces so I could ink the four pieces separately. After locking them back together, they are rolled through the press as a single print.

Paper Size- 10" x 10"
Print Size- 7.5" x 7.5"
Frame not included. This print will fit into a square frame with an 8" x 8" opening nicely.

Oil based ink on 250gsm Stonehenge paper.

Edition of 20 printed. Signed and titled along bottom.

Due to the nature of printing by hand, small details may be different in each print.
