Where the mountains meet the prairies. This print features the border connecting Waterton and Glacier National Parks, with the prominent Chief Mountain standing beneath a classic Southern Alberta chinook arch.
To bring this print to life, I used a "jigsaw" printmaking method. I carved the design out of a single linoleum block, then carefully cut it apart like puzzle pieces so I could ink the two colours separately. After locking them back together, they are rolled through the press as a single print.
Paper size is 12" x 16"
Oil Based ink on 250gsm Stonehenge paper.
Edition of 20
Signed and titled along bottom.
